October 2023 Emergency Preventive Action
According to IOM, the total internally displaced individuals have reached in Lebanon 19,646 IDPs on October 21st, 2023. True to its social responsibility in the event of massive displacements, and based on its experience during the 2006 war, ALPHA started storing mattresses, blankets, hygiene kits , food baskets and drinking water to serve 600 families for 2 months: IDPS likely to seek shelters if the war expand in the eastern suburbs of Beirut an area where we operate since 2003 and hosting families. We never lost hope in peace but prevention is better than sorry!
